My little girl was born with very little hair; even at 16-months-old strangers often mistake her for a little boy. Sometimes even dressing her in cute little PINK outfits I still get asked, "What's his name?" It doesn't bother me, but it makes people feel awkward when I respond, "Her name is..." We all know the first way many children learn to differentiate between the genders is by noticing that boys have short hair and girls have long hair. I learned fast that simply by putting a headband with a bow on her head there was no more confusion when we went out in public! The name of my business is derived from those many awkward gender clarifying moments, but these bows are not just for the hairless. I love making bows and creating new styles. I offer bows to that compliment any outfit and add that finishing touch that says, "This is a pretty little GIRL."
